AKUAMAKS™ MBD is a patented, micro bubble, linear diffuser made of EPDMX rubber hose. This product is intended for use with pressurized gas like oxygen, ozone and CO2. Every AKUAMAKS™ MBD has about 120.000 micro-perforations per 100 cm length. Holes are so small that it is really hard to see them with the naked eye. Hose construction of AKUAMAKS™ MBD let to obtain bigger performance and universality of the diffuser. AKUAMAKS™ MBD can be produced in pieces not longer than 200cm. This product can work in any kind of water, with very high efficiency. Every AKUAMAKS™ MBD has two non-perforated ends (3 cm on both sides) which help to install any kind of connectors without open perforations in these places. Every new diffuser needs 24 hours of soaking in water before it begins micro bubble work. It is used in aquaculture, live fish transportation, emergency oxygenation, ozonation, and industrial applications.

MANUEL ( PLEASE READ BEFORE USE )

AKUAMAKS™ MBD diffusers needs 24 hours of soaking in water before it began miccrobubble work. It is a one-time procedure .AKUAMAKS™ MBD diffusers should work in straight lines or with bending radius more than 1,3m ( in case of this the smallest circles made of diffuser need to have at least 8 meters in circumference). Or have to use custom made frames and manifolds for your specific requirements. Please ask us the details.

AKUAMAKS™ MBD diffusers have to work constantly while under water or it has to have small oxygen/air source to keep pressure inside to prevent water to get into the diffuser.

Recommended gas flow for AKUAMAKS™ MBD diffusers is 2 l/min/100 cm. Diffuser can work with maximum flow of 10/min but then bubbles become bigger.

CLEANING :

Standart cleaning procedure is based on supplying diffuser with higher pressure ( more than 1 bar ) during 5 minutes time. This method can bu used without take diffusers out of water . If it do not help to clean diffuser good enough, repeat while streching diffuser for about %10 of it's lenght for 15 sec.
